Ms. Jordan Named FACS Teacher of the Year

Sarah Jordan, Fashion and Interior Design Teacher at the Hanna-Westside Extension Campus, has been named Teacher of the Year by the South Carolina Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.

Ms. Jordan received the award during the 95^th Annual Conference held recently in North Charleston.

 

The purpose of this award is to recognize the outstanding contribution of the Family and Consumer Science teacher in the improvement of the quality of family life; to identify exemplary education programs, teaching techniques and activities which might provide stimuli for other educators; and to build community awareness of the value of family and consumer education.
